Dharwad Police Seize Around 21 Kgs of Ganja in Three Separate Raids

Dharwad: The Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime Police have arrested an accused from Karadigudda village after seizing a total of 7 kg 455 grams of cannabis that was illegally cultivated in the backyard of his house during a raid.
In a separate raid, the Hubballi Rural police apprehended another accused who had cultivated 6.78 kgs of cannabis on his farm near Shirahuppi.
In the third operation, the CEN Police seized 7.40 kgs of cannabis from a farm in Bandiwad village. The accused had been growing the plants on his property, and based on a specific tip-off, the police conducted the raid and confiscated the illegal crop.
These operations were conducted under the supervision of Dharwad Superintendent of Police, Dr. Gopal Byakod, with support from Additional Superintendent of Police Narayana Baramani, and DSP Shivananda Katagi from the CEN Police Station, Dharwad. Inspector Murugesh Channanvar of the Hubballi Rural Police also played a key role in the operations.
